The number one thing that has changed the way I look at life and that’s created massive shifts in my business is…

If you have been following me for some time now, you will know that I started implementing this at the beginning of the year and has been 🗝 to shifting my life and business

So what is the LOA?
Everything in this universe is energy, including me and you. The LOA is a Universal law that basically states that Like attracts like so in other words, everything in your current reality is a vibrational match to the energy you have been sending out to the world up until this very moment. How exactly? By what you think, what you say, your belief system and your actions. To improve your reality and life, you must first raise your energy and become a vibrational match for what you desire. This is what manifesting is all about and ANYONE can manifest - it’s such a fun tool to use, especially in business!

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭:
At the beginning of the month, I set myself the intention to receive 5 group bookings during July - confirmed bookings with deposits paid even if they are for next year. I showed up, did the work and guess what? It’s not even the end of the month and I have smashed this goal 🤑

Created easy daily actions
Showed up
Let go of the desire/need and trusted that it would happen
Meditated
Showed up as my highest self as much as possible
Believed it would happen
Showed gratitude towards my life on a daily basis

It's also been appearing everywhere in my life, from the books I read to the online course i enrolled in at the beginning of the month that had a lesson on manifestation. I have now set myself a goal to join a course just about manifestation and LOA by the end of the year!

You can literally manifest anything as little as a free cup of coffee or a parking space, to working with your dream client and living the life of your wildest dreams!

So as you may have noticed, I have been MIA for over a week here. The truth is, I really needed a break. My whole ground shook when covid struck as I was left with little to no work for the rest of the year and so, I had to figure something out for the rest of the year that would allow me to work around what I desire to accomplish

For those of you that are new here, let me quickly introduce myself

This is me - I’m Jessica, a 24 year old certified makeup artist, creative soul and I’m obsessed with all things mindset, coffee, horses and dogs. However, 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝑴𝑼𝑨’𝒔 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔, 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰’𝒎 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕!

I have 4 children, all of which have four legs and take up the majority of my time during the day 🙈 2 horses and 2 dogs

When lockdown lifted, I was left with little to no work for the rest of the year when it comes to makeup. Slowly I have been taking my business online but as it’s still early days, I opted for an evening job to help me for the rest of the year. I’m fortunate enough that my parents own a restaurant and so I’m grateful I am able to work with them. I also moved my horses, one of which is now on DIY livery which means I look after her daily. Putting the two together, I am left with only a few spare hours for everything else in my life along with online courses I invested in to help with my personal growth, planning and creating content for you

I’m here to remind you that it’s ok to take time off when you feel overwhelmed. It’s ok to listen to your body and let it rest. It’s ok to focus on yourself from time to time as this allows you to show up and shine your light brighter to the rest of the world ✨

Taking time for yourself doesn’t make you a failure, it makes you human and you are still worthy 💖

There’s nothing that warms my heart more than knowing that I get to be part of one of the biggest days of my brides lives and allowing them to relax on the morning of the wedding, knowing that they have full confidence in me and my work 🕊👰🏼

If there’s one thing I miss, it’s the butterflies I feel on the mornings of weddings knowing that I get to be part of the most important day of a woman's life. I love the exciting and loving energy that fills the air when I arrive at the bride's location to help her look and feel her best for what will be one of the best days of her life. I'm so gutted that the current pandemic forced most weddings to be rescheduled for next year and that I won’t be living these wonderful moments any time soon. However, this time off has allowed me to really understand what’s important for me as a Freelance Makeup Artist, apply the necessary changes I wanted to make and also have a clear vision of where I aim to go with my business and life. But oh those glorious moments of wedding mornings… I really am missing them so much. Having said this, I really would like to remind anyone who’s had to reschedule or has their wedding scheduled for next year, to not leave it until the last minute to book and reschedule your suppliers to avoid unnecessary stress and disappointment!

Due to what happened this year with the global pandemic, most weddings have had to be rescheduled for next year, meaning that there’s double the demand for suppliers in 2021 compared to normal and it can get quite stressful for us to with such high demand

Taking chances, making a change and investing in myself ✨

Yesterday I finally let go of fear and of holding myself back. For a long time I’ve been wanting to invest in a course that wasn’t makeup related but was more business related. As I always say, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 and I could feel that it was time for me to level up yet again. A few weeks ago I found the perfect course and yesterday I finally decided to just go for it. YOu know that feeling you feel just before you’re about to take a risk that feels scary? That’s how I felt yesterday sitting in front of the computer staring at the final button I needed to click on to send the payment and enroll in the course. I felt scared, my limiting beliefs were playing in my head on repeat and I felt physically sick. That’s when I knew I was doing the right thing. I know that by investing in myself I will go further and I’m showing you that the best thing you can ever invest in is in yourself and your business. Upleveling requires taking risks and let me tell you a secret:

𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 - you have to take risks in order to learn and grow 😌

And for those of you who are wondering, yes I am a makeup artist, yes I am investing in myself and business and yes, being a makeup artist and having a successful career is sooo much more than just being able to apply makeup 💄⚡️

I aspire to make my clients look and feel their best and help other makeup artists gain confidence, improve their skills, mindset and business. By investing in myself, I am investing in those who I work with, providing them with the best information and the best version of myself 🕊
